Hide the brightness, see the light
Light is often considered to make a public space feel safer at night, this presentation will explore that it could have the opposite effect. The focus of this presentation will be on lighting urban parks and looking to take a new approach to lighting them to improve perception of safety for those using them at night. This will involve exploring environmental art based projects that light urban green spaces in an alternative way.
